Serpentine on Fire

There's been a recent theme amongst Perth astrophotographers in taking wonderful nightscapes of the many dams in the hills near the city. So...I've added my humble image - this being one of Serpentine Dam with views to the east and the rising core of the galaxy. The Lagoon nebula (M8) and the Trifid nebula (M20) are just above the horizon near the hill on left.

This image is a mosaic of 6 panels taken through my Canon 50mm f/1.2 prime lens using a standard Canon EOS6D DSLR. All shots were at ISO3200 for 30sec each. Stitching of the shots was done using PTGui Pro, and processed in Adobe Photoshop.
