Sphere of Flame

Amongst the red, misty nebulas that burn brightly throughout the Carina constellation - an almost perfect sphere erupts from a distant past. Near its center is WR16 - a Wolf-Rayet star that formed the bubble around it through previous mass ejections.
There are not many images of WR16, only a handful on Astrobin or scattered webpages. This is probably because its quite small, not particularly bright, and relatively difficult to image. Thus, WR16 is like some B-grade movie actor no one remembers as the paparazzi flocks around some nearby superstar (the fantastic Carina nebula is close by).
WR16 has a small entry in Wikipedia: "[WR16]...is a massive, luminous, and evolved star in a late stage of evolution, surrounded by a complex nebula formed by its strong stellar winds and past mass ejections. WR16 is classified as a runaway star due to its high velocity through the interstellar medium."
