Most of the locations I have been to (or scouted) for nightscape photography are on this map. It is by no means a complete list of nightscape locations (not even close), but they are the locations that I can personally vouch for.
About the links: I have written up summary notes for each location in the links above. Included also are any nightscape photos that I have taken at that location - so you can make your own judgement about the location.
About the rating: After much debate on multiple criteria for rating locations, in the end I kept it simple - Excellent, Good, Average and Poor. How I rate into each category is simply this - "if someone is visiting Perth for the first time and wanted to do nightscape photography, where would you recommend first?".
